Item# Points - description
- 30 points - WebPages are well designed and easy to navigate as judged by George, one of us will receive 30 points, others less.
- 25 points - Website is constructed of multiple WebPages, 6 points per page, maximum 25 points.
- 20 points - WebSite uses uniquely purposed external style sheets, 8 points each external style sheet, maximum 20 points.
- 20 points - Unique uses of styles including, but not limited to, contextual selectors, pseudo-class/element, positioning, list modifiers, and rollover effect, 1 point each, maximum 20 points. Styles are exclusively located in external style sheets.
- 20 points - Links to external resources are use to enhance the value of your WebSite, 1 point each link, maximum 20 points. Site with best links receive 20 points, others less.
- 15 points - Original Elements, when turning in this assignment, include in your eMail a description of what makes your WebSite original.
- 15 points - printer.css external style sheet is used to format your webpages for printed media. It is easy to differentiate printed version from the original WebPages.
- 15 points - HTML is error free as certified by W3C Markup Validator, as XHTML 1.0 Strict (this is the first time you are required to validate to XHTML Strict standard). Every page must be error free.
- 10 points - Cascading Style Sheets are error free as certified by W3C CSS Validator. Every .css page is error free.
- 5 points - Folder used to keep your WebSite organized on the WebServer.
- 5 points - Link to our WebSite Assignments page.
- 5 points - Link to George's Home Page.
- 5 points - Link to one of your fellow student's Final Exam site.
- 5 points - Link to your Tulane eMail account.
- 5 points - Where is it? Bottom of this page. This image is included on and identified somewhere on your Final Exam Web Site.
